Domain and hosting in one panel: what it makes easier

When a domain and a hosting account come from different providers, connecting them means matching DNS records by hand: the A record must point to the site's server, the MX record to the mail server.

In Sitekodo the domain, the DNS screen, hosting and the site builder sit in the same panel. The Publish screen shows the record your site needs; if the domain is registered here, you add that record on the DNS screen yourself. The SSL certificate is requested with one button in the panel.

A domain registered elsewhere can be connected too: add the TXT verification record and the A record shown on the Publish screen at that provider's DNS screen. Buying both from the same place is a convenience, not a requirement.
